Spearman Students Advance to State in Academic Challenge
STATE QUALIFIERS FOR THE TACS ACADEMIC CHALLENGE
Spearman students competed in the Texas Association of Community Schools Academic Challenge at the Area Contest in Dalhart on, Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011. Two teams from Spearman competed and both teams qualified for the State Meet in Belton, TX on the Mary Hardin-Baylor Campus on April 20, 2011. These students have worked very hard to prepare for this competition and we are very proud of them. Members of the teams are: Jake Willimon, Colton Close, Josue Briseno, Tori Sheets, Cameron Meddock, Jace Lang, Crystal Cantu, and Samantha Ward. Their sponsor is Mrs. Derington. Congratulations students, on a job well done.
