USE OF SPEARMAN SCHOOL FACILITIES
School personnel and facilities will be available for the special school and community events when such events will not disrupt normal operation of the school and when they are within the capacity of school personnel and facilities.
The following types of meetings will not be charged a fee except for custodial and other personnel:
1. All adult organizations connected with the school such as PTA; Parent Booster Organizations, and Parent Study Groups
2. Student Organizations such as Boys Scouts, Girl Scouts and School related organizations
3. Chamber of Commerce
The following is a schedule of charges for use of facilities:
Elementary Cafeteria-Kitchen: $10.00 per hour / First 3 hours | $ 2.50 each additional hour
Elementary Dining Hall: $ 7.50 per hour / First 2 hours | $ 2.50 each additional hour
Other Elementary Facilities: $ 5.00 per hour / First 2 hours | $ 2.50 each additional hour
Varsity Gym: $12.50 per hour / First 2 hours | $ 2.50 each additional hour
Jr. High Gym and other Jr. High Facilities: $ 5.00 per hour / First 2 hours | $ 2.50 each additional hour
High School: $15.00 per hour for: Kitchen, Dining hall, Auditorium & other Facilities
In addition to the above, the following charges will be made for school personnel:
Cafeteria Workers: Regular Hourly Wage OR Overtime if it applies
Custodians: Regular Hourly Wage OR Overtime if it applies
NOTE: During the use of cafeteria-kitchen facilities by any group, a regular cafeteria worker MUST BE ON DUTY: He/she will assist the group according to their request. Also, custodians WILL BE REQUIRED TO OPEN AND CLOSE THE BUILDING being used, and clean up after its use.
Putting up decorations or moving furniture is prohibited unless permission is granted. APPLICANT IS HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR AND SHALL PAY FOR ALL DAMAGE BEYOND NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR.
