Welcome to Gus Birdwell Elementary! I am Lizet Olmos, the elementary principal. This is my 12th year at GBE. This is my first year as the elementary principal. Previously I was the assistant principal, counselor, and teacher. I have a Bachelor of Science from West Texas A&M University and a Master's in counseling and principal certification from the University of St. Thomas. I am happily married to Miguel Olmos. We have 4 children, Miguel, Julian, Sophia, and Jacob. I enjoy teaching Sunday school at Sacred Heart. Spending time with my family is my greatest joy. We love to cheer on the Spearman Lynx & Lynxettes and the Dallas Cowboys!
