The community service class is in search of the following items. All donations will be accepted this week at SHS.
This is the final week to nominate a deserving individual for the Lynx Legacy Distinguished Alumni Award. To be eligible, nominees must be SHS alumni who graduated at least ten years ago. Nominations will be assessed based on the nominee’s significant contributions to their profession, academic achievements, professional or business successes, and involvement in community or civic activities.
Elizabeth Pipkin was recognized as the Lynx Legacy Distinguished Alumni in 2024. Nominations are being accepted through March 21st. Nomination form can be found on www.spearmanisd.net.

Today, the Applied Nutrition class hosted a presentation for the community, focusing on preparing quick and nutritious meals. Attendees enjoyed a delicious sampler, and two lucky participants were awarded a pan of flavorful honey sriracha glazed meatballs.
Region 16 hosted a College First Day for the Migrant Education Program, providing students with the chance to explore career opportunities through hands-on activities.
Today's special board meeting has been moved to the SHS Library. Meeting time and agenda will remain the same.

Spearman HS is happy to recognize members of the Class of 2025 who continue to receive their acceptance letters from a college, university, career, or military branch on Future Awareness Day. Congrats to: Oaklee and Ellie - Frank Phillips College; Noah - Texas Tech University.
The Lynx to Learning Academy held their final training, where a fantastic learning experience took place, filled with plenty of laughter from the participants.
The SHS One Act Play cast and crew recently attended a festival where they had a great practice round.
Contest will be on Wednesday, March 19th in Stinnett. Performance time will be announced at a later time.
