After 18 years of dedicated service, Dr. Garnett has completed his tenure as a valued member of the Spearman ISD School Board. Throughout nearly two decades, he generously gave his time, energy, and leadership to support the students, families, staff, and greater community of Spearman.
During his time on the board, Dr. Garnett served multiple terms as President, consistently guiding the board with a student-centered approach and a steady commitment to making decisions that served the best interests of kids.
Dr. Garnett and his wife, KC, raised their five children in Spearman, where each of them attended and graduated from Spearman ISD. His devotion to the district extends beyond education, reflected in his longstanding medical practice and unwavering service to the community as a whole.
Thank you, Dr. Garnett, for your extraordinary commitment, leadership, and heart for Spearman ISD. Your impact will be felt for years to come.

In a special board meeting, Spearman Assistant Coach Jessica Slover has been unanimously approved as Spearman's Head Girls Basketball Coach/Girls Athletic Coordinator.
I am excited for the future of our girls' program. Coach Slover brings with her 10 years of experience, great energy, and an incredible work ethic. I believe her coaching style aligns with our values as a district.

The students had a fun challenge this week The focus was on canned items. They learned about common pantry staples typically found in a shelter.

The Read with a Buddy program, launched in 2013, is still going strong. Volunteers play a vital role in its ongoing success. Each week, students and their buddies meet to read together, forming bonds that often last for years. The program concludes with a celebratory event, bringing together students, their families, and volunteers for a fun and memorable gathering.
