Reminder: The 14th Annual FISH Camp will be held at Spearman High School on Wednesday, August 7 from 12:30-3:30 for all incoming freshmen. All students should enter the auditorium through the doors by the flagpole. We wanted to make the community aware that SISD will provide access to counseling services at all 3 of our campuses to assist with any grief counseling due to the recent events involving the passing of one of our students. If any student, parent, or teacher would like to make contact with the district LPC, please contact Spearman Junior High to schedule a time with Ms. Olsen. Congratulations to Vanessa Garcia for being named a top three finalist for Region 16 Teacher of the Year. There was an impressive group of educators gathered together from across the Texas panhandle to be celebrated for the impact they are making in the lives of children. Region 16 always does a phenomenal job of recognizing the great teachers from the region.

Vanessa Garcia has been selected as a finalist for the Region 16 Elementary Teacher of the Year! She and 2 other finalists will be interviewed this upcoming week. The Teacher of the Year will be named on July 30th. Congratulations on being selected as a finalist for the Elementary Teacher of The Year, Mrs. Garcia! We are so proud of you! Spearman ISD is fortunate to have you!

GBE school supply list for the 2024-2025 school year. *If your child is in HeadStart, they are not responsible for any supplies. A big thank you to PTO for purchasing the rest of each child's school supplies. They work hard so our students only have to purchase a few supplies!
