Mrs. Cardenas’ Newcomer class has been learning about financial literacy and food vocabulary.
They took a field trip to Lowe’s Grocery.
As a class , they had to decide what they wanted to buy with a $20.00 budget. Part of the learning experience was to name the items in English.
They even got free apples! Thank you, Lowes!
Today, in honor of our fallen hero, Cameron Meddock, the Lynx and Lynxette off-season completed the Meddock workout. Teams of 4 raced to complete the challenge with the winning team consisting of team captain, Brisa Flores, Jaden Sumner, Lucas Lujan, and Yobani Chitic.
