The “Lynx Motorcoach” sets off today on its maiden voyage to meet the Canadian Wildcats. The activity bus was purchased from Wink ISD. The Van Hool bus was purchased by Spearman ISD with 133,000 miles on it. Van Hool buses are known for being able to drive up to 1,00,000 miles! With a new paint job and all imperfections removed, the “Lynx Motorcoach” looks brand new.
Spearman Superintendent stated, “We have great kids. They deserve nice things!” Now, let’s get a Win in Canadian!!

Vanessa states the best thing about Spearman is, “Spearman is a tight knit community, so everyone knows everyone. This builds great relationships for the future.” The best thing about Spearman High School is, “The teachers have a great relationship with their students. When a student needs help, the teachers are always willing to assist.” Vanessa’s most influential teacher during her school years is Mrs. Deidre Tice. Jace is the son of Dean and Brooke Greene. I also love the variety of weather.” Jace goes on to state, “I am super grateful for our Superintendent, Mr. Gist!” The best thing about Spearman High School is, “The way that people have fun but also learn. I love all of the great memories and friends that I have made over the years. When asked about his most influential teacher during his school years Jace states, “I can’t pick just one: Ms. Lisa Carthel, Mrs. Terri Nies, and Dr. Mike Ralston.” Congratulations to Vanessa and Jace on being named the January Lion’s Club Students of the Month at Spearman High School.
