The SHS Class of 2024 is hard at work. These seniors have received their acceptance letters: Edgar - Amarillo College; Lexi - West Texas A&M University; Paige - Texas Tech University, Oklahoma State University, University of Texas at Dallas. Keep up the great work!

Tomorrow is district wide spring pictures! Elementary will take their class photos JH and HS will have their extracurricular group pictures.
Nominations are being accepted for the Lynx Legacy Distinguished Alumni. It is time to nominate individuals who have been out of high school for ten years and are deserving of this recognition . The application can be found on www.spearmanisd.net on the homepage banner or under Our District.
Ginger Pearson Nelson was the first recipient of this award. Who will be next?
Congratulations to the Spearman High School Congressional Debate Team for having a successful season. Genesis Chavira, Ryan Vasquez, Cady Barrett, Averen Delozier, and Alternate, Acey Womble competed at the Regional tournament. Cady Barrett placed 1st at Regionals and advanced to state as a competitor while Avern Delozier placed 4th at Regionals and advanced to the state competition as an alternate.
The state competition was a two-day event and Cady did well enough to advance to the second day. She placed in the top 18 for 3A!
A special thank you to Roger Morton for coaching the team this year along with Michael Rountree for mentoring and assisting through Zoom. We appreciate both of you!
Genesis, Ryan, and Acey are scheduled to be representatives for Spearman at next year’s regional competition. Great job, team!
