Spearman ISD Announces Promotions
Spearman ISD is proud to announce Laura Camacho has been promoted to Director of Business and Finance. She served as the Human Resource (HR) and Payroll Coordinator for 15 years. “Laura is highly intelligent and brings business experience to the job. It is critical to have a trusting individual in this position, and there is no doubt she can be trusted,” said Superintendent, Dan Gist.
Nora Saenz has been promoted to Executive Administrative Assistant and Human Resource (HR) and Payroll Coordinator. She has worked for Spearman ISD for 13 years. She started her education career as a paraprofessional at Spearman Junior High and was promoted to Executive Secretary 11 ½ years ago. “Nora has been and will continue to be the face of the district. Nora is the type of person that will step up when there is a need. When Laura was promoted to Director of Business and Finance, Nora came to me and offered to take on the responsibility of payroll and benefits. She is very deserving and capable of this promotion,” shared Dan Gist.
Dan Gist added, “I am very proud of the entire administrative office staff. Rebecca McKay and Marlyn Almanza have also stepped up and taken on other responsibilities. The dynamic of this team is impressive. Each person has their unique talents and skills and are always helping one another. As a result, we continue to serve our staff, students, parents, and community with a servant heart and a smile.”
Congratulations!
