Miss. Reining’s 7th grade Texas History class has been studying about cattle brands. Her students are creating brands that they would want for their ranch. Our area is rich in agricultural tradition and her students are making a personal connection to our area and state. Great job!

February is National Dental Health Awareness Month
Perryton Masonic Lodge donated bags of tooth care items to each of our first-grade students to help educate them on proper dental hygiene. Each student received educational information, a toothbrush, a timer, toothpaste, floss, and a travel bag.
Thank you, Masonic Children & Family Services of Texas, for the awesome dental goodie bags.
SHS Parents: We had an air compressor belt smoke up the Ag room, and unfortunately smoke went through our ventilation system. We are currently clearing the school of smoke, and students have been moved to a safe and smoke-free portion of the school. Classes will resume shortly.
Spearman ISD will host pre-k enrollment for the 2023-2024 school year on March 28th and 29th at Gus Birdwell Elementary. All children who will be 4 on or before September 1, 2023 are eligible and encouraged to enroll in pre-k. More details about enrollment days coming soon.
