Dallen will be studying Kinesiology with the plans of becoming a Physical Therapist.
Maddox will be studying Psychology to become a Family Therapist.
Both boys will also be joining the LCU Track Team!

Today, a Spearman ISD van was involved in a vehicular accident. Thankfully, all student passengers and the driver are believed not to be injured, although students are being medically evaluated out an abundance of caution. All parents have been notified and Superintendent Layman is on his way to Desdemona to pick up the students and staff member to transport them home.
Spearman HS students pursuing the Animal Science Program of Study had a great training day at Hansford County Feeders. The day focused on Cattle Care and Handling. Students will complete their IBC next week at WTAMU. A big thanks to the Texas Cattle Feeders Association, Hansford County Feeders, and Dustin Mackie for all of the information and a fantastic lunch.

Congratulations to Isabella Gauna on her internship acceptance with Defiant International Inc. in Dallas!

Congratulations to the Spearman FFA Land Judging team who placed 5th out of 21 teams at San Angelo. Issac Caro placed 9th out of 88 individuals. Way to go kids!

Spearman High School Spanish Club had an unforgettable experience during our recent Spring Trip to Amarillo!
The highlight of the day was an exclusive, behind-the-scenes tour of NewsChannel10/Telemundo Amarillo, where students explored the impact of Spanish-language media in the Texas Panhandle and engaged directly with professionals in the field.
Students learned firsthand about careers in media, including:
📰 News anchors
🌦️ Meteorologists
🎤 Reporters
🎬 News producers
Through their conversations with the Telemundo Amarillo team, students gained a deeper understanding of how Spanish-language news serves and connects communities across our region.
To make the experience even more memorable, our students were featured on-air and gave a special shoutout to Spearman! 👏
In addition, students participated in team-building activities at Cinergy Amarillo, where they strengthened collaboration and communication skills through escape rooms and laser tag challenges.
From media and communication to teamwork and cultural awareness, this trip brought learning to life in meaningful and memorable ways.
We are incredibly proud of our students for representing Spearman High School with professionalism, curiosity, and enthusiasm throughout the day.
