Due to extreme weather conditions, Spearman ISD will release early at 2:00PM today, Jan. 20th. Buses will run at 1:30PM. Spearman Junior High Games for today (1/20/25) have been cancelled.
Mrs. Cardenas’ Newcomer class has been learning about financial literacy and food vocabulary.
They took a field trip to Lowe’s Grocery.
As a class , they had to decide what they wanted to buy with a $20.00 budget. Part of the learning experience was to name the items in English.
They even got free apples! Thank you, Lowes!
Today, in honor of our fallen hero, Cameron Meddock, the Lynx and Lynxette off-season completed the Meddock workout. Teams of 4 raced to complete the challenge with the winning team consisting of team captain, Brisa Flores, Jaden Sumner, Lucas Lujan, and Yobani Chitic.

Former Lynxette, Maren Garnett, competed at the BYU Invitational January 11th. She vaulted 4.45 meters (14' - 7.25") setting a BYU indoor record and is the current NCAA leader in women's pole vault. Maren will compete at NCAA Indoor Nationals, March 14/15 in Virginia Beach! Congrats, Maren!
