We would like to congratulate our Spearman Junior High October Students of the Month:
6th grade- Kayla Mendoza & Julian Flores
7th grade- Paiten Martin & Easton Widener
8th grade- Mia Dominguez & Nicolas Briones
These students have exemplified what we strive to be as students at Spearman Junior High. Each month teachers will choose one male and one female from each class to represent SJH.
216 Main and Ab-Normal Sweets & Antiques are celebrating our students with a drink and cookie.

October is National Principal’s Month. This month-long celebration is a time to recognize and thank our hard-working principals on each campus of Spearman Independent School District. We are fortunate to have outstanding men and women lead the campuses.
Karina Baca is the assistant principal at Spearman Junior High. This is her second year as the assistant principal. One of her proud accomplishments is, “Surviving my first year as the Junior High assistant principal. It takes a lot to run a school, but I love my job and the people I work with,” smiled Baca.
Baca shares what a good day looks like for her, “A good day at school is seeing kids enter those doors with a smile and ready to start the day.”
A fun fact about Baca is she and her husband own Tacos Los Socios. They have had this business for a few years here in Spearman.
Baca is inspired by her family. “My family inspires me,: they inspire me to set goals for myself and to pursue those goals. I want them to know that everything is possible when you work hard and never give up.”
Keep up the amazing job you are doing, Mrs. Baca!
