College Welding kids build mailbox project for Cooke Street apartments.
The Spearman High School College Welding class consisting of Blaine Staggs, Johann Hernandez, Andres Hernandez, Uriel Avila, Connor Dehaan, Kyle Sandlin and Kyren Silva took on a mailbox project for Larry Oneil.
These kids took on the task
from drawing the blueprint, fabrication, painting, and installing this end product. These guys did an amazing job and you should be proud of the talent they have.
Thank you Larry Oneil for the opportunity for this project as well as Mr. Layman, Mr. Gist and all that support our kiddos.

December Employee of the Month
Shelby Reagan teaches science at Spearman High School (SHS) and is the yearbook sponsor.
“Mrs. Reagan can be seen at many of the school events whether cheering on the students or taking a few pictures for the yearbook. Speaking of yearbook, Mrs. Reagan is the coordinator for the yearbook, and this is no simple task. She is meticulous in her planning and is responsible for coordinating the chaos during picture day,” shared James Layman, SHS principal.
Her leadership skills come naturally. “Mrs. Reagan is a leader on the Spearman High School campus. She is always present, maintains a high level of professionalism, and collaborates with her peers. She provides her students with an engaging classroom environment, strives to create a lifelong love for learning, and still maintains high expectations for all of her students,” added Layman.
Reagan serves as a representative on the Teacher’s Voice committee. “While many in the profession have to work years to become a great teacher, Mrs. Reagan does so quite naturally,” stated Layman.
Congratulations on a job well done!
